Lucky's Bar
About This Spot
Lucky's Bar invites you in with the warm hum of a familiar neighborhood dive where time moves at its own easy rhythm. Nestled in downtown Spokane, this unpretentious haunt strikes a rare balance between a bustling social spot and a place where regulars and newcomers alike can savor a moment of genuine connection. As you step through the door, the mood is welcoming without pretense, marked by the low thrum of good music and the clinking of glasses mingling with soft chatter and laughter.
The heart of Lucky’s beats in its communal vibe—a blend of locals who know one another’s names and friendly faces who quickly become part of the story. It’s the kind of place where a bartender isn’t just behind the bar, but part of the conversation, crafting drinks with a practiced hand and a warm smile. The range of drinks feels thoughtfully curated to fit the easygoing tone, welcoming everyone from casual sippers to those primed for a lively night out.
Upstairs, the space grows playfully lively with the pull of a pool cue and the flicker of an arcade game, spaces made for sharing easy moments and the occasional friendly competition. Here, the music likely pulses a bit louder, encouraging smiles and movement, yet never tipping into chaos—more like a soundtrack for good company and the kind of night that lingers in memory.
What turns a simple visit into a meaningful experience is the sense of being seen and welcomed, as many who pass through quickly realize: this is more than just a bar, it’s a small gathering place for Spokane’s stories—where the music, the drinks, and the kindly nods all feel like a quiet cheers to the kind of ordinary nights worth savoring.

Stopped in for a quick adult beverage. Good local bar with friendly staff. Has pulltabs, pool table, and just a great atmosphere. Decent music selection and good choice of drinks. Also, the regulars were very friendly to an out of towner. Good place all around.

I came to Spokane to do photos at a concert at the Knitting Factory and my train back to Portland wasn't until 3:45 AM. The bartender on duty (didn't confirm a name but might have been Hannah) allowed me to stay past closing time and set my whole computer up so that I was able to wait safely and comfortably for a few hours rather than in the Amtrak station. Seriously cannot express my appreciation for that enough, it made an exhausting day much much better at the end.

James is the best bartender ever!! I’d highly recommend checking Luckys Pub for good drinks made by Spokane’s best bartenders including James, Carlos, and Anja! Duh! They’re always slanging drinks with a smile + they’re always down to talk. The upstairs has a pool table, small arcade bar, and darts. It’s a standard dive bar in downtown SPO but the food is great with optional pull tabs. As a bartender myself, don’t forget to tip the staff! They work hard! And play harder! Sometimes they have DJ’s perform if the touch tunes isn’t your style but it’s always a pleasure to walk into the bar. The staff is amazing + the food is immaculate! P.S.: don’t listen to the fear mongers on KXLY about the “shady people” in downtown Spokane. It’s like that anywhere + they don’t bother you if you don’t bother them. P.P.S: I love Luckys + tell all of my friends to check it out, too. #spokanedoesntsuck

Not sure the name of the guy behind the bar…but he was real friendly. This place has a killer happy hour…I paid $4 for a Kona Big Wave draft (normally I think they are $5…which is still a heck of a deal). I’ll be back here 100%

Luckys bar was probably our favorite stop of the evening. The music was loud and pumping, the crowd seemed engaged and we’re dancing. The bartenders were friendly, and we’re quick to serve. Unfortunately, we are just passing through town. Otherwise I could see this being a fun neighborhood watering hole. If you’re in downtown Spokane, look up Luckys bar, it was a lot of fun.

If you are looking for some great night life. Come to Lucky's and have a good time. Have a drink and dance a little. During the day it is a complete different scene, calm and a straight sports bar. Great then as well.

Wednesday night was fairly slow, which was nice for a while. To be able to relax, listen to a FIRE playlist, then play a few games of free pool between 2-8pm sounds like an alright night to me! ;-)
